Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant at Kare Mobile, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dental care to patients in various locations. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about dentistry and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
1. Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including but not limited to cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals.
2. Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient examinations and procedures.
3. Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
4. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
5. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
6. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.
7. Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for seamless operation.
8. Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the mobile dental office.
10. Participate in community outreach programs and initiatives, promoting oral health education and awareness.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- X-ray certification required.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel to various locations within Western Kentucky, Georgia, and potentially other areas.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
