Evening Croissant Production Shift Lead

You will be hired as a Croissant Production Assistant to start with the goal of this individual becoming a shift lead. Croissant Production Assistant responsibilities include mixing and laminating our croissant dough, cutting and rolling croissants, maintaining the production equipment, scaling our dry ingredients, traying up and setting the proofers for the bake, training new team members, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, amongst other tasks.
Once the individual has solidified their capabilities in the assistant role, they would begin taking on responsibilities such as executing production schedules and training team members to demonstrate their abilities as a shift lead. If promoted to the shift lead position, you would strategically plan and execute production schedules, delegate, and coach and train team members. You must also be able to work independently and consistently follow a specific set of processes and procedures with care and attention to detail and work closely with our department lead.
Set schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 2:30p-11p. (Please note: Training shifts will fall outside of this schedule.)
Must be comfortable with computers and apps. While no prior experience with Google Sheets and Slack are required, must have the ability to learn these two systems.
Additionally, you must be able to:
- Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Some bending/kneeling/stooping required
- Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
- Be able to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on both high and low shelves

Please note: The hiring timeline for this role is about 2-4 weeks, we are looking to get out ahead on the position but please note the process may be a little bit longer than usual.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.25 - $23.00 per hour
