Events & Marketing Manager
The Events and Marketing Manager will be responsible for multiple objectives at ASI, which include, but are not limited to:
1. Marketing – The Manager will establish a marketing and social media strategy to promote ASI’s work and services statewide, boost engagement, and provide vital information and resources. This will include creating and scheduling content, analyzing engagement data, identifying trends, and planning digital campaigns to foster a strong sense of community online. (60%)
2. Events – The Manager will support the Senior Director of Events and Engagement in coordinating and executing statewide events. This includes managing contacts, budgets and transactions, and event details, and providing day-of support. The Manager will also work with volunteers to ensure events are run efficiently. (20%)
3. Outreach – The Manager will assist in creating a unique outreach strategy for each of the four areas of the state. They may also serve on boards and committees and network as needed with the aim of advancing ASI’s objectives and fostering strategic relationships with other organizations and entities. (20%)
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree required
· Knowledge of and proven success with marketing strategies and principles required
· Competence in Microsoft Office
· Strong oral and communication skills
· Ability to handle confidential information and keep accurate records
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to work with families of individuals with Autism from culturally and/or socioeconomic diverse backgrounds
· Strong organization and time management skills
