Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and a commitment to excellence, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu creation, staff management, and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends while meeting customer preferences.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and leadership to foster a positive work environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular inventory control to minimize waste and manage costs effectively.
  • Collaborate with catering teams to plan and execute large-scale events, banquets, and special functions.
  • Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to maintain health standards.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the highest quality ingredients are sourced for the kitchen.
  • Implement cost control measures while maintaining high-quality food production.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within the culinary industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food management practices, including inventory control and food handling procedures.
  • Experience in catering services and managing banquet operations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Proficiency in culinary techniques with a creative approach to menu development.
  • Bartending experience is a plus but not mandatory.
