Experienced Automotive Technician

We're looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at DAA Northwest. This position is responsible for providing diagnostics and moderate to complex repairs on a variety of makes and models of vehicles. This includes:

• Performing preventative maintenance such as changing oil, oil filters, fuel filters, transmission flushes and inspection for mechanical flaws.
• Troubleshooting and repairing complex hydraulic systems, generators, electrical systems, hybrids and on-board computer systems.
• Completing various repairs on brake components, tires, tune-ups, suspension components, engine and drive line components, OBD II systems, etc.
• Perform diesel and transmission repairs.
• Working with outside vendors for parts and repairs.
• Creating and maintaining vehicle history and maintenance records.

Our Mechanics independently utilize computers, scanners, lab scopes and other types of equipment to perform diagnostic work on mechanical and electrical systems. They troubleshoot issues and determine the appropriate course of action and also maintain and improve technical expertise through technical bulletins, trade publications and training seminars.

The schedule for this position is 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of vehicle service and repair experience, including proficiency in operating automated shop computers and diagnostic test equipment, and a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. ASE certification is preferred.
