We are looking for an experienced craftsman to join the GreatHouse family. This individual is an organized, motivated team player with a willingness to learn, and a seasoned woodworker, cabinet maker, or carpenter. In this role, you will directly aide in the construction of multiple large-scale remodels, specific to custom cabinet making, millwork, and other carpentry areas as needed. Depending on the specific job, you will perform work either on the job site or in our workshop at GreatHouse HQ. You will work in a team led by a Lead Carpenter or Construction Project Manager, and will work alongside our Junior Carpenters and subcontractors. You will have a high degree of autonomy as you complete each task. As such, we require you to possess the highest level of carpentry, jobsite safety, and customer communication.


· Base pay of $20-25/hr

· Quarterly profit sharing of up to 25% of base salary

· This is a working position on the job and qualified candidates must be proficient with most aspects of remodeling trades and use of tools

· Carry out carpentry duties as assigned to you by the lead carpenter or Construction Project Manager with minimal supervision, including but not limited to cabinetry construction and millwork, trim carpentry, job site prep, demolition, trim carpentry, light framing, cabinet, door, and window installation, and job site cleanup

· Maintain customer satisfaction throughout the project within the means of the construction contract. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a lead carpenter or field supervisor position over time, as we are always looking to provide training and growth opportunities for our employees. Please note that while this role would primarily focus on cabinetry and millwork, you will be expected to perform more standard / general carpentry tasks roughly 20-30% of the time

You must be an ambitious, organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated hard worker with a knack for carpentry and home building.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Minimum five years of experience in residential construction or trim carpentry

· Superior knowledge of construction methods and techniques

· A team player

· Interact and communicate well with your crew, subcontractors, and the client

· Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis (must be able to lift more than 50 lbs)

· Must be available for extended work as required

· Reliable work vehicle

· Georgia driver’s license and good driving record

· Pass a background check

· NO smoking on jobs or during company time

· NO drug use of any kind

· Extensive rough and finish carpentry skills including cut-ins

· Experience managing project budget

· Ability to navigate a smartphone comfortably and learn new software/apps quickly

· Willingness to learn quickly and desire to move into a lead carpenter role and beyond in the next 1-3 years
