Fabricator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication processes and be adept at working with various materials. This role is crucial in ensuring that components are assembled accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall quality of our products.

Duties

• Assemble components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Perform welding tasks, including stick welding, to join metal parts securely.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
• Operate cranes safely to lift heavy components during the fabrication process.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fabrication.
• Interest or experience in the water & wastewater industry.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
• Strong welding skills.
• Experience with machining processes is a plus.
• Ability to work with hand tools effectively and safely.
• Familiarity with warehouse environment helpful
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must have clean MVR and pass pre-employment drug screening.
