Job Summary:
Regular work schedule will reflect Monday – Friday; 3pm – 11pm
Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $33.00 - $36.00 per hour plus 10% shift differential for working second shift. This is the reasonable estimate for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Pay could be more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
You will make a difference in the following ways:
- Install, perform preventative maintenance routines, troubleshoot and effect repairs to facilities and production equipment.
- Install, PM, troubleshoot and repair all production & non-production equipment that supports the facility.
- Troubleshoot and repair Facility electrical, mechanical, plumbing & utilities.
- Rig, move & set-up production & production support equipment, to include power, air & oil as required.
- Monthly check & document inspections to all facility emergency lights, exit lights, ladders & forklift batteries, effecting repairs as necessary.
- Fills out maintenance work orders & indirect labor sheets daily, initiates requests for replacement spare parts.
- Inspects Hazardous Waste Cabinet, checks containers for proper labeling and leaks.
- Assists in the Manifesting & shipment and ensuring compliance with EPA & DEC regulations.
- Design, fabrication, and welding of parts to support manufacturing, to include welding repairs to equipment.
- Additional duties to include but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, grounds maintenance such as snow removal.
- Must be able to flex hours for training purposes and major projects within the plant.
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, abiding by company rules and safety regulations.
- Understands power distribution and can design and implement circuits ranging from 120v 1ph-480v 3ph using prints provided by engineers.
- Can perform live electrical work safely.
What you bring:
Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Either formal training/school in electrical, plumbing, regrigeration or some work experience in those fields
Knowledge: Ability to follow and execute detailed processes/directions. Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a culturally diverse workplace. Ability to work independently and adhere to required tasks.
Special Skills: Comprehend and read electrical blueprints and schematics.
Customers Define Our Success: Provide support to the production floor, answer equipment repair and trouble-shooting requests to eliminate machine downtime and ensure continuous production.

Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
