Full job description
What to Expect:
June Farm is a wonderful place to work! The joy that the animals and the fresh air bring to our guests and our staff is what makes this place so special. This position is a very social position, as you will be interacting with guests and often leading tours and classes, teaching our guests about June Farms and our animals.
This position can be very physically laborious. You will also need to drive tractors, move many bails of hay and manure, and often work in extreme weather conditions, rain or shine.

Shire Horses
Scottish Highland Cows
Gloucestershire Spotted Pigs
Nigerian Dwarf Goats
Dorper Sheep
A variety of ducks and chickens
Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone with farm animal experience who can be responsible for the animal feedings 5-6 days/week, ongoing care for all animals, and feed purchasing. Also responsible for barn cleanliness and organization, as well as supervision of monthly equipment maintenance and all veterinary visits.
Other responsibilities:
Pole Barn organization
Weekly Animal Care Schedule
Help with snow removal in the winter months
Animal Pasture Rotation
Supervision of the Chicken Little Volunteer Program Supervision of the Horse Riding Program
Head the Horse Riding Program requiring you to manage the volunteer riding schedule and and program.
IF YOU DO NOT KNOW ALREADY, YOU WILL NEED TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE THE HORSE CARRIAGES.

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
