Field Engineer – Cell Tower Mappings & Inspections $55,000-65,000

Job Responsibilities - Primary

**

· Perform inspections and mappings of telecommunication structures, foundations, mounts, and associated equipment. This requires traveling to and ascending the structures;

· Prepare reports detailing the findings of inspections, mappings, and summarizing completed work;

· 2 week: 10-on 4-off, work schedule – 7 days in the field, 3 days in the office, 4 days off. Office work consists of: site visit reports, engineering cross-training, structural analysis, drafting, etc.

Job Responsibilities - Secondary

· Perform tower maintenance and minor construction on telecommunication structures. This requires traveling to and ascending the structures, rigging, and use of power and hand tools to complete minor construction;

· Prepare reports detailing the findings of inspections, mappings, and summarizing completed work;

· Assisting other Engineering and Service personnel with the completion of other jobs which require a member of the company on site.

Job Qualifications

· Strong interpersonal skills.

· Strong ability to manage time / personal scheduling.

· Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

· An ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

· An ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a sometimes-stressful environment.

· An ability to assist with the management of the scheduling, quality and completion of projects.

· Demonstrated multi-tasking skills and attention to detail are a must.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Those applying with an engineering background may have the opportunity for job growth as Structural and Design Engineering. SolidWorks Experience is highly desired! No prior experience required; however, an Engineering or Technical Degree would be an asset.
