Field Service Technician

Full time position supporting the Communications Industry

Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend work/travel

$20-$23 PER HOUR, depending on experience

$1,000 SIGNING BONUS AFTER COMPLETING 90 DAY PROBATION PERIOD

Job Description:

Advanced Powering Services has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician. We are looking for experienced long-term employees, but will train qualified candidates. This position will require occasional travel and possible weekend work.

Essential Functions:

• Cable replacement and crimping
• 3K to 8K generator maintenance and repair
• 90V Power supply maintenance
• 12V Battery maintenance and replacement
• Site clean up
• May include other duties as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic tools
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Background/drug testing required
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and have legible penmanship
• Occasional travel may be required
• Knowledge of electronics, small engine repair, AC and DC electrical systems a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
