Field Supervisor - Commercial Service HVACR

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Field Supervisor to help lead our team of 11 technicians at a commercial HVACR company. This role involves supervising, training, and managing service technicians while also supporting growth in our residential market.

Responsibilities:

·Supervision and Management:

  • Supervise, coach, and train service technicians.
  • Monitor technician performance and enforce company policies and safety protocols.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and quality control inspections.

·Technical and Project Management:

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Supervise installations and ensure compliance with project scopes.
  • Oversee start-up and commissioning of equipment.

·Customer and Sales Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to define equipment and service scopes.
  • Interface with clients to address concerns, provide estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and build strong customer relationships.

·Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor project costs and manage customer expectations.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and maintain high standards of workplace conduct.
  • Participate in job walks and assist in estimating quotes with sales staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service, chiller, and boiler experience.
  • Strong technical ability in HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Universal EPA Certification preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with sales, customers, and management.
  • Dynamic, passionate, and team-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

  • Proficiency in training, coaching, and managing field service staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
