Full job description

SWEAT440 is expanding to West Palm Beach later this year, and we’re looking for a Studio Manager to lead the pre-sales campaign, build the local community, and manage the day-to-day studio operations post-launch. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a brand-new location from the ground up — ideal for someone with a grassroots marketing mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep passion for fitness.

As Studio Manager, you will serve as the driving force behind revenue generation, team development, community engagement, and exceptional member experience. This role reports directly to the Franchise Owner and plays a critical part in both launching and running the studio.

Key Responsibilities: Pre-Sales & Community Outreach (Pre-Opening Phase):

  • Achieve a minimum sales conversion rate above 25% and ensure net sales exceed net cancellations to qualify for bonus
  • Generate monthly leads (first timers) through targeted outreach and grassroots campaigns
  • Represent SWEAT440 at local events, business partnerships, and community activations
  • Organize tabling events, pop-ups, and brand collaborations to build awareness and acquire members
  • Spend at least 2 hours per week on community outreach and submit a weekly outreach report to the Regional Manager

Studio Operations & Management (Post-Opening Phase):

  • Spend 38+ hours per week in-studio, plus 4 hours on admin tasks and 2 hours outreach
  • Ensure studio KPIs are met, including revenue targets, conversion rates, retention, and labor cost efficiency
  • Lead and develop your team through hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Build and manage the studio schedule while maintaining alignment with labor budgets
  • Maintain a clean, fully functional studio and coordinate maintenance and repairs
  • Monitor and maintain retail inventory, equipment condition, and cleanliness standards
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, checklists, and daily studio operations

Marketing, Outreach & Engagement:

  • Oversee studio social media, digital signage, and BrandBot communications
  • Maintain >90% on monthly Social Media Audit
  • Plan and execute monthly in-studio events and member-exclusive activities to increase retention and brand engagement
  • Work with the Marketing team to ensure the studio is actively promoted online and in the community
  • Generate and maintain 5 new 5-star Google reviews per month, while keeping all platforms at 4.9+ rating

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in fitness studio or health club management, with proven sales and team leadership results
  • Demonstrated success with grassroots marketing, community partnerships, and local outreach
  • Previous experience as a fitness coach or instructor is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of operational procedures and business metrics (KPI tracking, labor management)
  • CPR Certification required (or obtained within 3 months)
  • Nationally accredited personal training certification or degree in Exercise Science preferred
  • Tech-savvy with working knowledge of MS Office, scheduling platforms, and CRM systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Benefits:

  • Vacation & Paid Time Off (PTO):
  • Complimentary SWEAT440 Membership
  • Career Growth
