Flexographic Printing Press Operator (2nd Shift)

We are hiring an experienced Flexo Printing Press Operator for

• 2nd shift (1 pm – 11 pm), Monday-Thursday

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Flexographic printing press experience
• Ability to read and write
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work occasional overtime (flexible overtime hours available!)
• High School Diploma or GED

Example Duties/Responsibilities:

• Review job orders to determine printing instructions for quantity, colors, or other specifications
• Operate presses and pull print samples for impression setting, color density/hue, color deck registration, material orientation and various customer specifications.
• Monitor automated press operation systems and respond to error or alert messages
• Load presses and make adjustments according to production needs
• Load plate cylinders into machinery and perform dial/registration process.
• Change press plates or cylinders as required
• Place pre-mixed inks onto machine and perform quality checks
• Input production settings into workstation terminals
• Clean and maintain machines per company cleanliness standards
• Maintain a high level of quality control while multitasking at different levels of production throughout the shift
• Document changes and communicate effectively with team members
• Maintain a strong presence of mind for production and quality while working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong presence of mind to production and quality
