Food Runner and Busser Role Overview

We are seeking motivated and energetic Food Runners and/or Bussers to join our restaurant team. In these roles, you will be essential in ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experiences. Working alongside servers and kitchen staff, you will help maintain a clean, efficient, and welcoming dining environment.

Duties for Food Runner

• Deliver food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests, ensuring proper presentation.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in food service areas while adhering to safety standards.
• Refill drinks and provide additional support to servers as needed.
• Handle food safely, following proper handling procedures.

Duties for Busser

• Clear tables quickly and efficiently, resetting them for the next guests.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, chairs, and table settings.
• Support servers by refilling drinks, restocking supplies, and assisting with guest requests.
• Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure sanitation standards are met.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining back-of-house areas as required.

Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with staff and interact with guests.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service focus with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a bonus but not required.

Pay:

• From $10 per hour and tip out
