The Role:
We are seeking an FP&A Consultant to join our team in a fractional capacity. You’ll act as a trusted partner to CFOs, CEOs, and finance leaders—delivering forward-looking insights, building scalable models, and enabling smart, data-informed decision-making. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on clarity, precision, and impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement budgeting, forecasting, and rolling planning processes
• Create dynamic financial models that inform strategic decisions and investment priorities
• Analyze trends in revenue, cost, margin, and headcount to highlight growth opportunities and risks
• Collaborate with CFOs and department leaders to develop business cases and ROI models
• Build driver-based models to support scenario planning and “what if” analysis
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights for boards, execs, and operators
• Establish KPI frameworks and dashboards to monitor business health in real time
• Partner with operations, marketing, and sales to align financials with execution
• Recommend tools, systems, and process improvements to modernize the FP&A function
• Support capital planning, pricing analysis, unit economics, and resource allocation
• Assist during key financial cycles (e.g. annual planning, investor updates, M&A diligence)
• Mentor in-house analysts or FP&A staff to level up internal team capabilities

What You Bring:

• Experience as an FP&A lead, finance manager, or strategy analyst in $10M+ growth businesses
• Strong modeling skills and deep fluency in Excel, Google Sheets, and FP&A tools (e.g. Adaptive, Planful, Mosaic)
• Prior consulting or fractional leadership experience is a plus
• Ability to see the big picture while obsessing over detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills with a focus on clarity and business context
• Collaborative, coach-like leadership style with high EQ
• Comfortable in dynamic, fast-changing environments where priorities shift quickly
• A bias for action and passion for helping others make confident financial decisions

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
