Job Summary
The Fripp Ship Sales Associate sells casual clothing and beach gifts and maintains the shop. This position is responsible for ensuring customers are served in an efficient and courteous manner while keeping up with the daily tasks of the shop.
Fripp Ship Sales Associate Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome patrons and provide the highest level of customer service.
- Always maintain a polite and courteous attitude with all members, guests, and co-workers.
- Operate the retail store.
- Answer phones and take messages in a polite and friendly tone.
- Records all charge tickets using point of sale software.
- Promote and sell sports shop merchandise.
- Keep shop neat, clean, well-lit, and comfortable.
- Assist Merchandiser.
- Change displays when instructed.
- Restock Merchandise when supply is low.
- Report to work on time and in uniform for scheduled hours.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and qualifications
- Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate verbally.
- Great customer service skills including listening carefully and exercising patience.
Physical Requirements
This position requires complete mobility. Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk a minimum of 8 hours daily and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
