Local driving, home every night, drivers average $75K - $100K per year.

Driver Qualification Include:

Valid Texas Class A or B CDL REQUIRED
Minimum 23 years of age
Minimum one-year verifiable driving experience (previous waste experience highly preferred)
Clean driving and safety record
Maintain required productivity standards and exceptional customer service
Must adhere to all safety requirements and work procedures
Experience with DFW Metroplex area
Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including repetitive lifting (50+ lbs), pushing, pulling and climbing
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Successfully pass a road test, DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
Previous waste hauling experience is highly preferred

Required experience:

Waste hauling experience: 1 year
No more than 3 tickets in the last 3 years
No DWI convictions in the past 5 years
Required license or certification
Texas Class A or B Commercial Driver's License

Responsibilities and Duties:

Commercial route drivers are responsible for the collection of commercial trash and recycle materials. Drivers utilize heavy-duty CDL vehicles to collect commercial solid waste and recycle material and transport the waste/recycle material to a disposal or sorting facility when vehicles reach capacity. Drivers must safely maneuver vehicle in commercial business areas, shopping centers, and traffic throughout the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.

Average annual pay is between $75,000 and $100,000. CWD benefits include paid vacation and holidays, medical health insurance, dental insurance, 401K plan, safety bonus, profit sharing, referral bonuses, and uniforms. Drivers with previous waste experience are eligible for a hiring bonus--conditions apply.
