This hotel specializes in developing staff for future roles. We are currently in need of a Full time Housekeeper but are looking for any individuals who want to continue to move up and grow their careers in hospitality. This is just the start of your future hotel career.

The primary function of this position is to assure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding the guest expectation for product cleanliness.

El puesto es para tiempo completo se requiere trabajar fin de semana y dias festivos el horario es de 9:00am - 5:30pm.
Responsibilities include:
· Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
· Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Cleaning up to 15 rooms on a full 8 hour shift.
· Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies
· Using the commercial washer and dryer
· Folding and preparing laundry
· Stocking housekeeping carts as needed
· Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
· Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
· Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
· Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
-Adhere to all of the Covid-19 Safety guidelines provided by the CDC, Petra, IHG and AHLA.
- Comply with Company Standards of Service.
- Project a favorable image to the public at all times.
- Treat guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
- Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times. A complete uniform (or business dress for non-uniformed associates) must be worn at all times in public areas, including name tag.
- Develop and maintain productive interpersonal relationships and the ability to relate well with a wide variety of individuals, many of whom will require patience and tolerance.
- Know and follow established cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Assist colleagues when their own workstation is completed.
- Properly using all cleaning fluids and supplies.
- Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by the Assistant Executive Housekeeper/Executive Housekeeper/General Manager.
- Performing all work assigned by the Assistant Executive Housekeeper/ Executive Housekeeper/General Manager.
- Knows and actively practices the hotels' emergency plan

- Assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal, ethical manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
