General Laborer 1st Shift

Servicing the high-end architectural, landscape design, building, and interior design trades, ORIJIN is a leading natural stone wholesaler and fabricator with the area’s most extensive selection of high-quality imported and domestic stone offerings. To drive continued success, we have a full-time position for a General Laborer to join our team. This position will have the responsibility of working with our Shipping and Receiving or Fabrication team and supporting the warehouse operations.

If you have general labor experience in the stone, tile, countertop, landscaping, or other related field, and are seeking an exciting opportunity with a company that will generously reward your efforts and encourage your advancement, we hope to hear from you.

Schedule: Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm or 6am-3pm, potential OT during busy season.

Essential Job Functions

Assembling and packaging stone orders
Assist with Will Call by receiving and processing orders
Material Handling
Loading and unloading trucks
Forklift operation
Operating cranes
Cleaning of work areas
Working with equipment
Assisting other departments
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Forklift experience required
Available to work between 7am-4pm or 6am-3pm Monday through Friday, hours may vary or increase during the busy season.
Must be able to frequently lift 50-100 lbs
Willing to work in a Manufacturing setting
Safety-oriented
Must communicate effectively and with exceptional professional etiquette
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Able to multitask and prioritize tasks
Reliable attendance and punctuality
High School diploma or GED required
