As our General Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage our team, working closely with other executives to establish and achieve short and long-term goals. You will be responsible for managing budgets and allocating resources optimally, ensuring that each department meets its individual goals and is accountable to both the leadership team and clients.
At Lucid Day, we pride ourselves on our engaging, supportive, and communicative culture. Though we are a remote team, we believe in face time, so we get together as a company twice per year and the leadership team meets in person quarterly. Though a small team currently, we are mighty, and we are growing. Team Leadership & Management Responsibilities
As the General Manager at Lucid Day, you will be responsible for cultivating a dynamic and high-performing team culture. Your leadership will center on coaching and mentoring team members to help them achieve their potential, removing obstacles that hinder their growth, and creating a work environment that prioritizes employee happiness. With your help, new hires will be seamlessly integrated into the team, and all team members will have a clear understanding of their roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
To move the company forward, you will make confident decisions that promote clarity, identify and resolve interdepartmental issues, and prioritize the activities that will have the greatest short and long-term impact. You will also be tasked with developing our existing processes, making them more secure and scalable and ensuring that they are easily understandable for all team members. Additionally, you will maintain our strong and healthy company culture as we grow and manage difficult conversations with tact and empathy.
As an inspirational leader, you will motivate and inspire team members to be their best while maintaining a high degree of emotional intelligence. You will also enable team members to clearly understand and assess their own performance, identify key metrics, and use that information to drive continuous improvement.
Your role will also require you to attend and facilitate highly effective leadership team meetings that keep a pulse on the team, provide accountability, and transparency, and keep the company moving forward. Additionally, you will establish and maintain the Lucid Day Academy to maintain a pipeline of experienced professionals. You will oversee the Professional Service team's management of client engagements, empowering them with the tools necessary for their success while ensuring that commitments are met on time, and that high-quality, client-centric service is provided. You will also understand and implement strong project management practices, leverage process documentation to increase standardization and productivity, and provide open, honest, and timely feedback to help everyone level up. Ultimately, your role will be to help individuals reach their full potential and drive the company towards sustainable growth and profitability.

As the person responsible for driving the growth and success, you will invest in your own professional development and take action on feedback you receive. You will bring your passion and expertise to provide in-depth analysis and insight into capital, technology, processes, and personnel investments needed to achieve business objectives, while maintaining an in-depth understanding of the industry, competitors, and clients to leverage this understanding to grow the company.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing new products and services that enable the business to grow, owning the relationship with monday.com for professional services, and identifying and developing win-win strategic partnerships. You will drive diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization. You will also be supporting the ongoing development of our offerings and approaches, and defining and communicating our value proposition to all key stakeholders.
You will celebrate wins, achievements, milestones, and accomplishments, while managing the client and services portfolio to diversify revenue streams and drive company autonomy, sustainability, and scalability. You will own P&L results. You will be in charge of the design and implementation of the optimal structure of the company with clearly defined roles, create and manage a strategic staffing plan to align recruiting and hiring priorities and budgets with forecasted needs, identify resource/technical needs, and consistently achieve or exceed revenue, margin, service level objectives, and quality targets.
Professional services quality & customer happiness
As a General Manager, ensuring the delivery of quality services is crucial to maintaining the trust and loyalty of our clients. It is essential to take steps to measure and improve customer satisfaction continuously. Owning the successful end-to-end delivery of Professional Services engagements, including project plans, schedules, budget, tracking of deliverables, metrics, and issue resolution, is also a vital aspect of this role. The General Manager ensures that teams and subcontractors have a clear understanding of client requirements and possess excellent client relationship skills, proactively managing client expectations, recognizing their needs, and adapting to meet evolving requirements.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and providing day-to-day advice and support to team members on strengthening client relationships are also important responsibilities of this role. The General Manager is committed to providing outstanding service and exceeding client expectations, ensuring their satisfaction and the long-term success of the company.

1. A high level of comfort with using technology to automate and manage systems and processes is a critical success factor
2. Experience managing and supporting a remote team
3. Ability to make quick pivots unapologetically
4. Fully embrace the principles within Patrick Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of a Team with being open and honest with each other and creating healthy and trusting teams
5. Experience managing by the numbers and being adept at working with forecasts for financials, activity planning, and capacity
6. If you happen to have used and love monday.com, and/or EOS in a prior role, it's a big plus
7. Experiencing leading teams in growing a successful service organization, driving quality and customer experience
8. Experience within a fast-growing company, rooted in core values, delivering great service, and has created a great place to work for their team members
