The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations at our Blüm San Leandro location and directly supervises our leads and assistant managers. Collaboration is paramount in this role. As a key member of our Leadership Team, the General Manager will work closely with our Director of Retail Operations, Director of Staff Development, HR, and purchasing, as well as provide insight and leadership as we evaluate potential new partners and assets.

The ideal candidate for this position thrives in data and SOPs, has a proven track record of proactive supervision and change management, and is keenly aware of the local and state regulations, and compliance requirements that come with the cannabis industry. They have a penchant for detailed budgeting and forecasting, know how to build up a team of sales experts from within, and provide an example of leadership to emulate among the management team.

This position requires an in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge. One who is at home in navigating the facilities needs of a large, complex property as well as reinforcing a culture of sales expertise will succeed in this role. Experience with METRIC and various POS systems is a must.
