Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging German classes to kids (beginner to advanced) and/or young heritage speakers.
• Utilize diverse teaching methods for different age groups (5-7, 8-12, 13-18 years).
• Develop fun and effective lesson plans.
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress.
• Communicate with parents about student progress.
• Collaborate to enhance the curriculum.

Position Details:

• Role: Freelance German Language Teacher for Kids Classes (ages 5-18)
• Location: Remote (Must reside in the USA)
• Schedule: Flexible, 2-10 hours per week, afternoons/evenings required (some positions may include Saturdays).
• Compensation: Starting at $25/hour, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Requirements:

• Native or near-native German proficiency.
• Excellent English and German communication skills.
• Minimum 1 year of online teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in a related field.
• Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Experience with age groups 5-12 or 13-18 preferred.
• Familiarity with technology tools for instruction.
