Golf Pro Shop Attendant

Mallard Creek Golf Club is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant to assist in the daily golf course operations.

Summary of Job Duties:

• Handle transactions for golf sales, merchandise, food and beverage, etc.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
• Communicate with shift’s starter, ranger, cart and snack bar staff.
• Communicate regularly with customers to understand and meet their needs.
• Answer phone calls for tee time reservations and other customer questions in a professional manner.
• Manage the daily tee sheet effectively.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Provide solutions for customers’ needs, questions and concerns.
• Keep direct supervisor aware of any issues/concerns as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in retail or service position preferred.
• Age 21 or older to handle alcohol sales.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of golf preferred.
• Management skills, including problem solving, leadership and decision making.
• Professional and enthusiastic attitude.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and related software.
• Ability to complete job duties with independence and initiative.

Pay:

• $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay
• Plus Tips

Schedule:

• Up to 50-hours per week depending on availability
• Varying 6-8 hour shifts
• Some weekend and holiday shifts possibly required
