GRAPHIC DESIGNER

JOB DESCRIPTION

BASIC FUNCTION

The Graphic Designer candidate will assist in company growth by possessing the skills of collaboration, communication, organization, and project management. This position will be responsible for graphic design of print, digital, some animation, brand management for FBHP. This position will design newsletters, print, fillable forms, digital and print advertisements, social media posts, emails and manage related projects aligned with company goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including graphic design, writing, animation, digital media, building infographics, basic video production, basic podcast production, project management, ability to utilize research findings to improve content development and communications. Must be an organized multitasker, able to oversee many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Director, Marketing & Communications

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Graphic Designer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Graphic design of infographics, animation, print, digital, emails and social (organic and paid) posts for multiple platforms.
  • Photo editing.
  • Assist with video production and podcast development as needed.
  • Assist in set up of digital asset management (DAM) software and creative asset library, licensed stock images, proprietary images, partner images, internal designs, forms, logos, and creative elements.
  • Utilize Marketing Department project management system to ensure collaborations, approvals and deadlines are met.
  • Uphold brand standards, visual brand language, voice & tone and manage brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with departments and vendors to build and execute marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

  • Prepare documentation related to reporting communications impacts, outcomes and KPIs.
  • Create clear and easy to understand marketing copy.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors.
  • Utilize research insights to align creative to customers’ purchasing behavior/journey, personas, and lifecycle for efficient marketing strategy spend.
  • Assist in collaboration and communicate of creative campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to colleagues, sales team, and provide instructions for usage and promotion.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: bachelor’s degree required or equivalent level of experience.

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years of Marketing and Communication experience required.
  • 2+ years project management experience.
  • 2+ years producing content, video, and podcasts.
  • 2+ years public relations

Skills/Competencies: A successful candidate for the Graphic Designer position will possess the following skills and/or competencies:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills to communicate value propositions.
  • Adobe Suite video and podcast editing skills.
  • Experience in photography
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of Medicare regulations.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year
