Valley Insurance Group is a full-service, independent insurance agency offering Commercial, Personal & Benefits insurance solutions. We have experienced tremendous growth in the past few years and anticipate continued growth for years to come. Our agency is located in Naperville, IL conveniently right off Interstate 88.
Valley Insurance Group is looking for an experienced Group Benefits Account Manager to join our team and add value to our growing client base.

Position Summary for Group Benefits Account Manager:
- Manage an assigned book of business while expanding and solidifying relationships with clients
- Responsible for day-to-day account management for medium and large group accounts
- Manage quoting process
- Prepare proposals and enrollment materials
- Prepare and submit new group applications
- Manage group renewal process
- Process employee enrollments, terminations, COBRA
- Assist members with claims, which may include contacting carriers and providers
- Manage and protect the reputation of the company
- Maintain strong relationships with customers
- Provide technical support to Account Executives
Requirements – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for the Group Benefits Account Manager:
- Group Benefits experience in mid to large group, 3 – 5 years preferred
- Applied Systems EPIC and Employee Navigator experience preferred
- Ability to shift focus based on developing situations
- Be a team player
- Current Insurance Life and Health License required
- Microsoft Excel – Intermediate Level a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
