Job Title: Head Sawyer

Overview:
Join our team as a Sawyer where you will play a crucial role in our woodworking operations. As a Sawyer, you will be responsible for cutting and shaping wood materials to precise specifications using a variety of tools and equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Operate power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders to cut and shape wood products.
- Fabricate wooden components according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Utilize CNC machines for precision cutting tasks.
- Inspect wood materials with calipers to ensure accuracy of dimensions.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse workspace.
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the facility.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using hand tools commonly found in woodworking shops.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.
- Familiarity with programming CNC machines is advantageous.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.63 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
