Position Summary Health Insurance Agent:

IDEA Insurance Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) Sales Agent to join our team. In this role, you will assist Medicare-eligible individuals in selecting the most suitable MAPD plans by evaluating their healthcare needs, medications, and available benefits, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of their coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultations: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' healthcare needs, providing personalized recommendations based on their medical history and eligibility.
• Sales Outreach: Make approximately 200 daily calls to targeted leads, promoting our MAPD products and services, and scheduling consultations.
• In-Person Engagement: Assist walk-in clients at our storefront locations, providing on-the-spot consultations and support.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and ensure all sales activities comply with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active 2-15 or 2-40 Health Insurance Licence
• AHIP Certification for the current year.
• Proven experience in MAPD sales or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to educate clients on complex insurance concepts.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
