High Reach Forklift Operator

G&S Foods is a central PA based snack food company operating in Hanover, PA. We are a co-manufacturer of sweet and salty snacks from popcorn to chocolate-covered pretzels. We are hiring for a 1st and 2nd shift High Reach Forklift Operators. This position includes great benefits including a $750 sign-on bonus, attendance bonuses and employee appreciation events! Our High Reach Forklift Operators are responsible for

• Using sit-down and high reach forklifts to move finished product from the production floor
• Supplying production with raw materials
• Load, unload, inspect and document loads
• Ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Utilize DEACOM (ERP system) to accurately verify, track all incoming, in process and outgoing material moves.

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:

• Proven experience as sit-down forklift operator and high reach forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing environment required
• RF scanning experience required
• ERP software experience required

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds
• Infrequently lift and / or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds
• Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision.
• Must be able to work in varied temperatures

Shift Times:

• 1st shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm
• 2nd shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm
