MARTIN LUTHER HIGH SCHOOL JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Math Teacher
Job Classification: 10-month employee
Reports to: Principal
Position Summary: A highly motivated Algebra Teacher is needed to join our dynamic team at Martin Luther High School. We are looking for teachers with knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques, knowledge of creating and implementing innovative lesson plans, strong understanding of algebraic concepts, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, and have strong classroom management skills.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree (required)
● Expertise in presenting to small and large audiences
● Ability to communicate effectively with and maintain positive relationships with staff, students, and families
● Strong organizational skills
● Ability to work productively both as a member of a team and independently
● Strong attention to detail
Essential Job Requirements:
● Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill curriculum requirements.
● Teach algebra concepts including variables, equations, inequalities, functions, and graphing.
● Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
● Prepare and administer quizzes, tests, and assignments.
● Monitor and support student progress through regular assessments.
● Provide extra help and resources for students struggling with algebra.
● Maintain an organized and productive classroom environment.
● Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.
● Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities.
● Incorporate technology and interactive tools to enhance learning.
● Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
