Excitement is brewing in the neighborhood as we prepare to unveil the newest addition to your healthcare options – Milwaukee ER & Hospital.

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic Hospital Facility Administrator to join our team.

The Hospital Facility Administrator will be responsible for being the main point of contact for various responsibilities in opening a facility, supervising front desk staff, maintaining all records for the facility, and performing other job duties as directed by the management team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 5 years in Hospital Administration, Operations, or Management.
  • An Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Two years' experience in Human Resources.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in supervising front-end staff.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintained credentialing, privileged documentation, and state-required documentation for emergency physicians.
  • Attend physician meetings and transcribe meeting minutes.
  • Maintain schedules for the emergency physicians for both locations. Adjust and make corrections necessary to maintain adequate staffing.
  • Maintain contractor files for the emergency centers.
  • Contact person for facility maintenance, such as cleaning, electrical, plumbing, and city and state authorities.
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
  • Coordinate payment of monthly invoices.
  • Maintain daily, monthly, and yearly medical/insurance billing reports.
  • Acts as liaison between the medical billing company and the emergency centers.
  • Address any patient complaint related to the medical billing company and emergency rooms.
  • Interview applicants for patient services representative (Admissions), along with the Medical Director and Chief Nursing Officer, in making recommendations on hiring.
  • Staff as Admission Representative whenever no one is available.
  • Prepare and make bank deposits.
  • Attends monthly staff meetings.
  • General clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
  • Participates in Marketing events when possible.
  • Perform other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer, Medical Director, and management team.
  • Demonstrate professional conduct and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Always maintain confidentiality.
  • Job duties are subject to change as directed by the Management Team.
  • Abide by employee handbook rules, including being present and on time for scheduled shifts and observing the dress code.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Physical Demands – While performing the duties of this job, the employee must lift and move up to 50 pounds with good body mechanics. Employees are frequently required to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, and frequent bending and twisting motions are required.
  • Adverse/Hazardous Conditions - Potential injuries from physical efforts and chemical irritants. Potential exposure to body fluids and infectious diseases.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
