Housekeeper
Monday Through Friday 1-7pm
Holiday Shifts may be required

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Housekeeper is responsible for the routine daily housekeeping activities of the Ronald McDonald House as it relates to general operation activities, cleanliness, and maintenance of equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day to day operations of House
- Detail clean guest rooms after a guest family checks out using the House procedures for ensuring room readiness for the next family.
- Ensures all guest room linens & towels are properly laundered and stored.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and notify House Operations Director of any needs
- Directs and maintains the cleanliness of all common areas of the House
- Maintaining a clean kitchen and ensuring it is ready for each Guest Meal Group.
Guest Relations
- Answering guest questions
- Must be able to follow and enforce all House rules with all families
Maintenance
- Respond to maintenance requests as needed to ensure safety and comfort for guests.
- Perform assigned tasks to maintain property
- Inspects each unoccupied guest room for cleanliness and maintenance each month with House Operations Director
- Completing regular maintenance throughout house.
- Coordination of repairs with House Operations Director
Communication
- House Operations Director and other staff members as needed.
- Professional and confidential communication with House Guests.

- The employee will be expected to climb ladders up to 6ft.
- Able to lift and move objects weighing 30 lbs.
- Perform minor maintenance repairs as needed should an emergency occur during the night.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly walk, climb stairs, reach with arms and hands, squat down to reach certain areas and possess good vision including close, distance, peripheral and depth perception.
- Maintain a House setting that is reflective of safety and cleanliness upstairs and downstairs.
Note: These requirements represent minimum levels in order to perform the job on a satisfactory basis. Employees must have the ability to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the job.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Daily and monthly task sheets are assigned by the House Operations Director to ensure all House activities are completed in a timely and thorough manner. Additional duties may be assigned by the House Operations Director
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
