Full job description

The Housing and Homelessness Program Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing programs and services that support individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and goals in line with organizational and funder requirements.
  • Manage a team of staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality, client-centered services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to coordinate services and resources.
  • Monitor program budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  • Collect and analyze program data to measure outcomes and impact, and adjust programming as needed.
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and professional development opportunities to staff and volunteers.
  • Participate in advocacy and policy work related to housing and homelessness issues.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing social service programs, preferably in the area of housing and homelessness.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Passion for serving the community and working with individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and other challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and principles.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and other forms of marginalization.
  • Proficiency with data management and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
