Full job description

Haviland Enterprises, Inc., a 100% Employee Owned, industrial chemical, plastics and pool and spa chemical manufacturing and distribution company, specializing in creative chemistry seeks a HPC Marketing Lead. We are looking for an independent, reliable, self-motivated, self-starting, with a positive attitude, team approach, with an "Owner" and process improvement mentality. If that is you, apply today! Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Hybrid/Remote (optional)

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Design, Business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in technical, chemical, or industrial environments
  • Ability to understand and translate complex technical applications into meaningful, customer-focused content
  • Strong technical writing and visual storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Canva
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms
  • Familiarity with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and landing page creation
  • Photography and light video editing skills preferred
  • Excellent project coordination and time management capabilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative, proactive mindset with a passion for learning and storytelling

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage content across platforms: technical articles, eBlasts, brochures, flyers, social posts, short-form videos, trade promotions, and press releases
  • Translate complex chemical applications into clear, compelling marketing that reflects the voice of the customer (VOC)
  • Capture real-world content from labs, plants, and customer sites to infuse campaigns with authenticity and field insights
  • Work with Sales Management to develop consistent brand messaging across the business segments
  • Work with Sales Management to expand our customer base in new/expanding markets
  • Collaborate closely with Haviland’s designers, strategists, and external partners to cultivate integrated content and campaigns
  • Build and maintain website pages and landing pages aligned with product strengths and customer needs
  • Own marketing campaign workflows in HubSpot or a similar CRM—segment audiences, manage timelines, and launch targeted communications
  • Lead trade show and event marketing, coordinating creative assets, production timelines, and post-event follow-up
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar and ensure timely delivery across marketing initiatives
  • Support earned media efforts, including press outreach, trade publication features, and PR campaigns
  • Maintain regular engagement with Haviland’s core B2B customer base via email, social media, and event follow-ups
  • Ability to travel as needed to Haviland facilities, maintain vendor/customer relationships, attend specific tradeshows/meetings - domestic travel 25% annually.
