Behind the Work is a fast-growing and award-winning digital agency. Our clients include universities, small businesses, and collaborative partnerships with other marketing consultants. We are actively seeking a HubSpot Specialist who has a strong understanding of lead generation and is obsessed with finding new ways to grow our client’s pipeline.

Our team is remote between Chicago, San Diego, and other locations. You will also have the opportunity to learn about data analytics, SEO, demand generation, account-based marketing, and intent-based marketing. Our team is fun and full of nerdy, effective marketers. This is not a bloated old-school agency or a job you can fly under the radar.

The HubSpot Specialist will work to develop and implement high-performing HubSpot instances for our clients. This role will provide insights into trends, implementation of recommendations, and measurements of campaign performance.


  • Work in collaboration with internal teams and clients to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Implement new HubSpot account setup and onboarding
  • Develop insightful HubSpot dashboards, reports, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity and execute data migration/cleansing projects.
  • Analyze data sets to develop actionable insights and trends that can drive lead generation.
  • Evaluate, build, and improve marketing database segmentation strategy and fulfill ongoing CRM management.
  • According to industry best practices, build automated campaigns using the Hubspot CRM platform integrated with social media, segmentation, landing pages, forms, and third-party tools.


  • 2-4 years of hand-on HubSpot experience
  • Ability to autonomously troubleshoot to fix a problem
  • Ability to build consensus between teams; flexibility as needs evolve

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
