HVAC Installer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to understand functions of all common HVAC systems we install. Capable of identifying all working components of common HVAC systems, ability to work without supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and complete installations from start to finish, while supervising and training of install helpers as assigned.
• Listens carefully & follows direction from Operations Manager well.
• Dependable and reliable employee
• Ability to read and understand all wiring diagrams, manuals and flow charts.
• Is driven and has initiative to perform job expectations.
• Ability to properly install all types of common HVAC systems
• Properly install metal and fiberglass ductwork
• Install Supply & Return Air plenums
• Install Flex duct, line sets, line and low voltage
• Wire set condenser pads
• Install whole house humidifiers
• Install and wire zone dampers
• Install venting for all types of furnaces
• Must be able to check duct systems for proper airflow and identify problems.
• Must be able to design and fabricate duct system for any forced air system out of any material commonly used: metal duct board and flex.
• Must be able to wire any common controller zone systems and check them for proper operation
• Must be able to braze refrigerant lines.
• Must be able to properly handle refrigerant reclamation and be able to properly charge systems
• Ability to train employees in lower grades in all proper procedures as well as act as a mentor.
• Ability to explain proper operation of all common HVAC systems to our residential and commercial customers.

Requirements:
- At minimum 4 years experience HVAC Installer or similar role
- Proficiency in installing
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- EPA Universal refrigeration Certification
