Job Title:

IGAP Coordinator

Location:

Fairbanks, Alaska/Healy Lake Village

Employment Type:

Full-Time

Reports to:

Tribal Administrator

Job Summary:

The IGAP Coordinator manages and oversees programs, activities, and initiatives related to Waste management and sanitation. This role involves coordinating between council, community members, staff, and grant managers, ensuring efficient program delivery, and supporting participants to achieve program objectives. The IGAP Coordinator will also foster communication, track progress, and ensure compliance with organizational goals and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Coordination
  • Develop, implement, and manage the Healy Lake IGAP program, activities, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth IGAP program deliveries.
  • Ensure all resources, materials, and communications align with program objectives.
  • Attend training and classes to continue professional development.
  • Secure additional funding sources to strengthen the program.
  • Community Involvement
  • Act as the primary point of contact regarding waste management and sanitation, addressing and concerts, and providing support and guidance.
  • Educate Healy Lake community members about the IGAP program
  • Data Management and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for program success and grant reporting requirements, including program metrics, outcomes, feedback, and spending.

Requirements and Skills:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Proven experience in program coordinating, project management or similar experience

Strong organization and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment

Proficient in computer and software skills

Must have the flexibility to travel

Must have a valid Driver’s License

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
