Income Tax Preparer and Reviewer

Established in 2008, Wierenga.Tax is an income tax firm. We are a team of tax, accounting, and legal professionals that provide our clients with assistance in wealth creation and preservation strategies.

The position includes the following responsibilities:

• Extremely high attention to detail
• Ability to work in an efficient manner
• Self-starter and proactive in approach
• Extensive understanding of, and ability to discuss, the actual tax forms and schedules, beyond what a tax software data entry provides. Please do not apply if you rely on tax software to tell you what to do.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/CPA preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Compensation:

• Based on experience

Experience:

• U.S. Income Tax return preparation: minimum of 1,000 returns prepared
• U.S. Income Tax return review: minimum of 1,000 returns reviewed
• Microsoft Word & Excel: 5-10 years
• Knowledge of ProSeries, Tax Dome, and QuickBooks a plus

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
