Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Lead - 2nd shift

G&S Foods is a central PA based snack food company operating in Hanover, PA. We are a co-manufacturer of sweet and salty snacks from popcorn to chocolate-covered pretzels. We are hiring for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Lead. Be a part of our continued Growth & Success at G&S Foods! Our Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Lead is a reliable team member responsible for

• Installing, troubleshooting issues, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment utilized in the company's operations
• Repair or replace electric cords, switches, heating elements and basic wiring
• Oversees and guides maintenance mechanics during daily tasks
• Ensures timely completion of work orders
• Trains new mechanics and supports skill development
• Communicates status of work orders and updates to maintenance management

Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:

• Previous maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing facility required
• Previous leadership experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Able to interpret blue prints, electrical schematics, and technical documents
• Working knowledge of electrical devices and their interaction with the equipment to which they are attached

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds
• May infrequently lift and / or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds
• Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.

Shift Time:

• 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm (hours will vary)
