Kiddie Academy of Morrisville has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and loving educator to join us as teacher in our Younger Infant (6 weeks-8 months) or Toddler (18-24 months) programs. You'll bring a creative touch and caring attitude to our team of child care professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day.

Qualifications

Lead Teachers:

  • 2 years of classroom experience in a licensed child care center or preschool
  • North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (NCECC) and/or Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (Early Childhood/Related field or Unrelated with 12 additional semester hours in early childhood coursework)

Assistant Teachers:

  • 1 year of classroom experience in a licensed child care center or preschool.
  • North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (NCECC) and/or Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential
  • Preferred: Additional semester hours in early childhood coursework at an accredited post-secondary school

Responsibilities

  • Provide an environment that is safe, positive, nurturing, and respectful of children.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding developmental milestones, concerns, and overall well-being of the children in your care.
  • Complete documentation in compliance with state and company requirements: attendance, daily reports, sleep checks, health checks.
  • Prepare and implement classroom lesson plans, program, and schedule.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment by following sanitation rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with co-teacher and support staff to provide consistently excellent care.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
