About ABC: The Association to Benefit Children (ABC) is dedicated to ensuring that every child has a joyful, healthy, and safe life through compassionate and innovative programs since 1986. ABC is currently hiring for a lead infant/toddler teacher at the Graham School at Echo Park (1841 Park Avenue), in an Early Head Start classroom for children birth-age 3.

Responsibilities of the teacher include:

  • Lesson planning, conducting assessment, and curriculum implementation
  • Maintaining a safe, organized learning environment
  • Maintaining accurate and timely classroom records/documentation

Qualifications of the teacher:

  • Infant/Toddler CDA, OR Associate's in Early Childhood Education, OR NYS Early Childhood Education license (initial certification accepted)
  • Experience working with children ages 0-3
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Being joyous with children and maintaining high standards, non-negotiable.
