Safrit's Building Supply is looking an Inside Sales Coordinator for our Beaufort location. Safrit's Building Supply is a family-oriented, fast paced lumber yard; serving both commercial and residential eastern NC customers for 90 years, and we now have 5 locations serving Carteret and Onslow counties. The Inside Sales Coordinator position entails supporting outside salespeople by selling or presenting new business goods & services to building industry clients. Clients connect with an Inside Sales Coordinator to place orders, obtain estimates, and inquire on lead times via fax, telephone or email.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
*Writing sales orders & communicating relevant information to clients
*Creating purchase orders to send vendors
*Quoting estimates for in-stock & special order products
*Creates a professional relationship and provides customer service to clients
*Assigned as Sales Assistant #2 - assistant on accounts overseen by Outside Sales people
*Composes order entry for delivered & customer pick-up sales
*Applies proper procedures to complete special order entries
*Maintains working relationships with vendors & customers
*Continually expands product knowledge of what is needed in the marketplace
*Services incoming sales calls regardless of account assignment
*Supports the sales counter when required
*Responsible for all sales orders, sales returns, purchase orders, & credit memos for which he/she writes
*Performs related duties as required or allocated
