John M. Ellsworth Co. Inc. (JME) is a leading distributor of fluid handling products headquartered in Milwaukee. For over 50 years and counting, JME has stayed at the forefront of our industry and built a reputation for customer satisfaction.

As our Inside Sales Representative, you will focus on new customer acquisitions, and work with each individual customer to create customized solutions for their needs. Each day, you’ll have a pipeline of perspective clients who are looking for JME’s industry expertise, NO COLD CALLING required! This position also offered unlimited commission earnings!

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand client needs and provide solutions and support
  • Answer client questions and follow-up questions
  • Work with sales team to help close sale opportunities
  • Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Maintain a database of prospective client information using Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.
  • Work with clients through the entire sales process from quoting to closing process
  • Meet weekly and daily metrics/KPIs as laid out by the Sales Manager

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 1-year previous experience as an inside sales representative, or related sales experience, industrial sales preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM/Salesforce experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with current and potential customers
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
