Job Overview
The Minnesota Statewide Limited Energy Joint Apprenticeship and Training Center (JATC) seeks a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role requires a commitment to student success and the ability to engage learners through innovative teaching methods.

Duties

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student needs.
• Facilitate engaging classroom discussions and activities that promote critical thinking and collaboration.
• Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff regarding academic progress and any concerns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of an IBEW/NECA sponsored Installer/Technician Apprenticeship Program.
• Previous teaching experience and curriculum development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of learners.
• Experience utilizing technology and educational software to enhance instruction.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Experience with Electrical Training ALLIANCE learning platforms including PTSI & CML.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $47.73 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
