Position Summary

We are seeking a Instrumentation Engineer with 1 - 3 years’ geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring experience to work on infrastructure and development projects. The Engineer work closely with Project Managers to develop work plans, manage and assist in instrument installations, and create monitoring reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be willing to travel to oversee, assist, and perform installation of geotechnical instrumentation monitoring systems
  • Program, maintain and troubleshoot geotechnical instrumentation equipment
  • Manage data acquisition, communications, and performance of monitoring systems
  • Prepare field reports and track installation information. Provide reports to the Project Manager
  • Prepare monitoring reporting, take-offs and proposals
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to clients, as needed
  • Work with multiple clients, contracts, and projects at the same time
  • Be able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Interact and communicate with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels
  • Ability to travel to multiple project locations as needed

Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of experience as an Instrumentation Engineer
  • Experience with instrumentation & monitoring equipment and with radio and cellular communication systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint software
  • Prior Construction Field Experience required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to Interact with client representatives
  • Basic computer programming and data management skills
  • AS or BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying or Geological Engineering
  • Valid Driver’s license

The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
