Full job description
Insurance Agency located in Bayside, NY is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. As a team member for Daniella Smolanick - State Farm Agent Intern, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home and life insurance.

Qualifications for the Insurance Sales Agent:
- Property & Casualty license is preferred or willing to obtain
- Sales experience is required, if not licensed
- Insurance experience is preferred
- Life & Health license is preferred or willing to obtain
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening
- Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
- Must be motivated and determined
- Bilingual (a plus) preferably Spanish, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin
Responsibilities for the Insurance Sales Agent:
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage’s, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Handle leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
