LaTouche Pediatrics LLC is an acclaimed pediatric office, and we are seeking the right person to join our Business Office team! We currently have an opening for a Insurance Collection Specialist who will primarily be responsible for appealing denied claims and fixing billing errors to ensure payment from insurance companies
Responsibilities and Duties
Our Insurance Collection Specialist position performs financial, clerical, and administrative services necessary to ensure the efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control. Our qualified candidate meets deadlines consistently, while displaying flexibility and an eagerness to get the job done.
· Completes cash and charge reconciliations, post-payment reviews, and denial management. Performs other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support Accounts Receivable requirements.
· Prepares and submits appeals to insurance companies
· Verifies outgoing electronic claims are transmitted successfully
· Enters posting adjustment into the practice management system according to credit balance protocol.
· Work with parents and insurance carriers to resolve Coordination of Benefits inquiries.
· Performs basic duties required of a Business Office team.

- Coding Certification of CPC, CCS-P, or NCCIS or equivalent required
Pay:
· From $20.00 per hour
