Full job description
Kristy Beal - State Farm is seeking a team-oriented insurance sales producer. As an Account Manager with our agency, your ability to follow existing sales and service processes in a high functioning team environment will be critical to your success. Our agency offers a stable compensation package absent from wild swings normally found in a heavily commissioned role. Additionally, the agency pays for licensing and training and offers paid time off during the first year. As an associate with our Agency, you will enjoy an appropriate work/life balance. Our office closes for lunch each day from 1-2pm and we close at 4pm on Fridays.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Follow existing sales and customer service processes.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business.
- Be able and comfortable soliciting various insurance options that are appropriate and suitable for existing customers and prospects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Dedicated associate that is willing to work as part of the overall team
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) required, minimum of 2 years
- Able to obtain Property and Casualty License (company paid)
- Able to obtain a Life/Health License (company paid)
- Able to be dependable regarding attendance
- Interested in marketing products and services based on customer needs
