Overview:
Community Mediation MN is a State-Wide Non-Profit organization with 7 Community Dispute Resolution Programs that partner together. Community Mediation & Restorative Services (CMRS) located in Hennepin County, Conflict Resolution Center (CRC) located in Hennepin County and two satellite locations in Duluth and St. Cloud, Mediation and Restorative Services (MARS) located in Anoka County, Dispute Resolution Center (DRC) located in Ramsey County, Mediation and Conflict Solutions (MCS) located in Rochester, Restorative & Mediation Practices (RAMP) located in Rice County, and Center for MultiCultural Mediation (CMCM). Together we partner in providing low-cost/no-cost mediation services and alternative dispute resolution services throughout the state of Minnesota. We offer Civil and Family mediation training to the community as well as standalone training sessions. Our centers also have a variety of volunteer Mediators as well as staff members to assist in our center level programs.
About the role:
The Intake and Housing Navigation Coordinator will assist in answering CMM’s main phone line, responding to general email, sending referrals to corresponding Community Dispute Resolution Program by location and referral type as well as providing resources to the community.
Responsibilities:
● Answer all incoming calls from main line, providing resources when necessary, and answer any questions or directing calls to the appropriate center
● Navigating incoming calls to determine if appropriate for mediation or other dispute resolution services
● Maintaining incoming referral requests and sending to appropriate CDRP
● Respond to emails as they come in and direct to other programs as necessary
● Manage phone system, phone lines, email addresses
● Analyzing and generating monthly, quarterly and annual reports of referrals
● Assist Executive Directors with other tasks as needed
● Administrative tasks as needed
● Provide Housing Navigation Services and Housing Court Services
● Support CDPR Court Pilot Projects a. Support CDRPs with new programs as needed b. Turn over court services and navigation services to volunteers.
● Supervise and support Ampact Heading Home Corps Member/s
a. Training, research & regularly occurring meetings
b. Assign duties and responsibilities
c. Develop work schedule
d. Supervises duties and responsibilities
e. Approve timecards through Ampact portal
