We’re seeking an experienced IT manager who has the technological skills to make us even more efficient. This person will analyze current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, scripting language, web-based programming, object-oriented programming, MS SQL, experience as a manager, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. The IT manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain essential IT operations, including servers, networking equipment, and desktop support.
  • After hours support as needed.
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
  • Ensure network components meet needs and work together seamlessly, using the full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitive solutions.
  • Maintain information security.
  • Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed.
  • Manage and interface with IT Vendor responsible for essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
  • Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative.
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
  • Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions.
  • Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Certifications
  • 5+ years of experience preferably in the construction or service industry
  • Candidates should have knowledge of:
  • o Microsoft Windows Server 2016 / 2019
  • o Working experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • o Microsoft Exchange 2016 & 2019/ Office 365
  • o VMware ESX, Hyper-VM
  • o Microsoft Azure
  • o Mobile Devices Management
  • o Firewall (Sonic Wall), Routing and Switching devices
  • o Migrations and implementations
  • Analytical mind with an eye for detail
  • Ability to act as a problem solver
  • Organization and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
